We have passed twenty issues of Curry's Chronicle; no small feat and entirely due to the dedication of the staff at Southgate. We have also featured 44 coins in the Coin of the Week project, without a break, I might add.
I thought it would be valuable to contemplate the significance of this. In the past, numismatic literature has been dominated by high profile dealers and professional researchers. What Rusty and Marie Goe have done, is open this field to everyone. They have proven that dedicated members of a coin community can band together and produce quality research and quality essays and win awards doing it. I think that numismatic research has been changed forever and we need to thank the Goes for their dedication and selflessness, and for giving us an opportunity that has given all of us some measure of fame.

You said it, Garry!
We like to think of ourselves as "the best value for your money in numismatics." Our club offers a website with a forum, an award-winning publication, and a plethora of technical knowledge about the Carson City Mint and its coinage—no other organization can boast that!
Makes you proud to call yourself a C4OAer, doesn't it?
Kudos to Rusty and Marie for keeping it running so smoothly, and over so many hurdles. Lets continue to get famous!

Garry,
It is members like you who make all the efforts put forth running this club worthwhile. About 98% of the feedback we receive about the club, Curry's Chronicle, the club Web site, the meetings, etc. is positive. Several members over the past five years expressed dissatisfaction with club, some even lashed out with hostility. We try to brush off the naysayers, and thanks to members like yourself, we can concentrate on the positive accomplishments.
You have served as a role model for other members on how to participate on the C4OA's discussion board. Proof of this is in the next milestone you will soon reach in the number of posts you have made on the boards. If Weimar White is at the top of the leader board in articles contributed to Curry's Chronicle, you are definitely the reigning king of posts on this discussion board! You deserve many kudos for this from other members.
As for the 44 COTW articles to date (as of 7-15-2010), all of you who have contributed to this project have reached the 40-percent mark in terms of a complete 111 piece set of "CC" coins. Scaling this tall mountain of coins is a formidable task, and it will be appropriate to take another "step back and contemplate" when you guys reach the 80-percent mark—the summit will then be in sight.
Keep up the good work.
