Each week, one C4OA member will choose one of the 111 coins in a complete set from the Carson City Mint. He or she will share new information, images, associated stories, history, etc. about the featured coin. A featured coin can come from your own collection or from another collection that you know about. Let's make this a collaborative effort.

Post your articles, pictures, and comments about any of the silver coin denominations from the Carson City Mint, except Morgan silver dollars -- They have their own category.

Post everything here about "CC" Morgan silver dollars: GSAs, VAMS, key dates, common dates, pictures, articles, comments, everything!

Share something about "CC" $5, $10, and $20 gold pieces. Show us some pictures, ask some questions, tell us about your favorite series (or your favorite single coin).

Provide information or ask questions about the prices for "CC" Morgan silver dollars. You can also report prices realized from recent auctions.

Share with us what you know about one of the Carson Mint's superintendents, assayers, coiners, cashiers, etc., or post an image of one of these individuals.

Share with us anything about Virginia City, Silver City, Gold Hill, or any of the surrounding areas that were connected to Nevada's Comstock region.

Share about your Carson City Mint-related memorabilia (assayer receipts, local merchant invoices, mint documents, etc.), or ask questions about non-coin artifacts and documents that are relevant to the history of the Carson City Mint.

Exonumia refers to coin-like objects, such as tokens and medals. It branches out to include counterstamped coins, all similar non-coin items, such as ingots (bars), canceled dies, impressions struck from canceled dies, elongated coins, and basically any non-paper-like collectibles you want to link to coin collecting. For this C4OA forum, we want to limit the discussion to Carson City Mint- and northern Nevada history-related items.

Reminisce about your favorite movies and other forms of entertainment connected to the Carson City & Comstock themes. Please don't confuse this section with the Exonumia and Ephemera categories. Everything has its place. Have fun!
