Please help spread the word about the Carson City Coin Collectors of America's new Web site. Don't keep this valuable resource hidden in a closet.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of "CC" coin collectors who have never heard of our club. Why shouldn't they be receiving Curry's Chronicle and participating on this Web site?

If you post messages on other collector forums, please put in a plug for our club---include a link to our site in your message.

Just like this: forums.collectors.com

Or like this: boards.collectors-society.com

Give it a try!

I have really enjoyed the new website. I don't post much since I am a relative newbie, but I have found "eavesdropping" on the discussion board to have expanded my knowledge. I don't have a good source of information ie: a coin shop nearby, so the discussion board provides me with honest ,expert advice. Many thanks! Trish:) :)

I got an opportunity to mention this site on www.coppercoins.com during a discussion of something I brought up here, Dr. Fey's article in the Spring 2009 issue about fake PCGS and NGC holders. Here is my post. People don't seem to warm up to posts like this but who knows.

"NGC has voluntarily published diagnostics of the fake NGC holders on the NGC website. PCGS has not done that. FYI, The publisher of Curry's Chronicle is Rusty Goe, who owns Southgate Coins in Reno.

Here is the forum.

Also a blog that you can join. c4oa.blogspot.com/

If you are interested in Carson City coins, it is only $20 per year to get 4 100 page journals. All articles are written by members. I just had one of my own published in the Summer 2009 issue.

Here is the link on the forum to some samples of Curry's Chronicle.

Way to go Garry!!

That's the kind of support our club needs.

If more members would start spreading the word like you have done, our new Web site could become one of the most popular numismatic sites on the Internet. Plus, we might add many more names to our club's membership roster.

We've got a great thing going, let's share it with as many people as possible.
