Agreed... A terrific issue with a lot of new contributors who I hope will continue to share their experiences and ideas. So many good articles, in fact, that I want to comment individually on them in a letter to the editor which I'm working on right now.
Speaking of Todd Pollocks great coin photos.... I've hired him to shoot all my coins. He's up here in the frozen north doing just that at this very moment! The only problem is that we're spending way too much time discussing all the features and diagnostics that jump out at us on the 18inch MAC BOOK screen. The outcome is even better than I anticipated. It's almost as if I'm seeing many of the coins for the first time! Todd has found three or four very interesting features that I literally did not know were present....one a completely overlooked over-date missed both by PCGS and, incredible as it may seem,... by me as well.
Thanks Todd!..... Belay Off

I went to a coin show this past weekend in Massachusetts looking for a 1882 Vam 2A with no luck at all. Decent prices on our beloved CC coins. I only ended up picking up a nice 1877CC var.1 dime as well as a 1876CC dime in XF-Au condition. Saw some outstanding high grade CC morgans too.
