Thanks for the kind words Rusty! They sure do mean alot. I am having the time of my life with this project. I have learned so much from the research that my fellow COW posters write as well as the two COW posts that I have done. I am working on my next post for late January and looking to improve on my last two. This forum has given me the oppurtunity to do things that I would never have dreamed possible. The knowledge and information obtained from my fellow club members goes beyond words. Thanks again to all!!!

Hi Loosechange

I want to commend you here on your most informative article on the 1877-CC seated half dollar.

You have obviously done your research homework and presented it here in fine fashion.

I really need to get Bill Bugerts' new CC half dollar book. I wonder if anyone has yet collected the entire varieties set of "CC" half dollars?

You are a most welcome new COW writer

the drummer

PS Thank you guys for providing some great coin pics!

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement Drummer. I had said this in my first ever article published in our own Curry's Chronicles that you as well as Rusty have given me the encouragement to do something I have never done before. To all of the posters in the Coin Of The Week project I also thank all of you for posting pictures, I promise for the next COW I will have pictures, and for all the comments along the way. I have learned so much from all of you! May You all have a Happy Holiday season and may we all get those gems from our favorite Mint on Carson Street!!!!!!!!!
