Well said Carsonite! Each of the Coin of the Week authors provides a look at Carson City minted coins tinted with his personal interest. Whether that's numismatic statistics or socio-economic factors, the COW articles always have great "Flavor".

Tom's first C.O.W. posting is a perfect example.

Wow Belay

What an amazing coin!!!!! Your 1872-CC eagle has a most "original" look to it....normal circulation wear but no harsh cleanings/dippings so commonly seen on issues like this.

What a find! ...and what a great piece for your collection.
