Drummer and Loosechange,

I hope you guys received some value from the article. There was a heck of a lot more I would have liked to write about (always is), but I just did not have the time this weekend to expand further on the subject. Like every CC coin I've ever researched, there is so much more to the story than just banging out a round disk of gold 144 years ago.

The photo of my '77-CC Eagle is decent, but does not do the actual coin justice.

Coins always look better live and in person than in pictures...knowing this, your 1877-CC $10 must really be a spectacular example because your picture looks great!
