Great coin choice..nice job on the post too! Sorry I have not commented earlier on your half dollar post, it's been that kind of week.

Personally, half dollars are among my favorite of all the denominations. In fact, the half dollar series was the first of all the Carson City denominations that I completed.

The coin in the photo is an absolute monster! If that's yours, then my hat's off to you!

Thanks for the kind comments Belay Off, although I must confess, the picture is a generic photo, however I do have a few examples of some CC half dollars that look pretty darn good. I am getting closer to figuring out how to take pictures of coins and post them on the net, so you may see them some day.
