All C4OA members...
The CC Coin of the Week project is proving to be quite popular and has been a lot of fun for us amateur CC coin collectors who are writing these mini-article.
In the last two weeks, two more C4OA members have reserved several CC coins to post articles about in the upcoming months. I want to thank the "Drummer" and "Blu62vette" for accepting our invitation. We're looking forward to reading about the Carson City coins you have chosen to write about.
Our little group of C4OA members has barely scratched the surface with the articles we've written thus far. We still have about 90% of the 111 different denomination-dates to go.
Any and all C4OA members who would like to write a brief posting about his/her favorite Carson City coin(s)are cordially invited to participate with our little bunch of amateur writers and CC coin enthusiasts. Just post a message under the Coin of the Week category saying you are interested. Leave an email address and one of us will contact you.
Don't worry if you've never posted anything on the C4OA website before. Most of us are still learning too, but we will jump right in and help you with the article, pictures and, of course, the actual posting process itself if you like.
Your public is waiting! (even if they're not it's a lot of fun!)
Kindest Regards... Belay Off

Dear Mr. Off or may I call you Belay.
I'd be interested in writing about a coin. I like the 1875 Dime because of the unique placement of the mint mark. I'm pretty tied up until February. My e-mail address is lyndadon@att.net.

Dear Declination Don,
Don't dare doddle describing dat dime date dude! Please post prospective prose promptly on Sunday April 11... our next open date.
Seriously though... a big thanks from the COWboys. I have reserved the 1875 Dime for you on the above date. If that date is not convenient, let me know.
BTB, It's Mr. Off to you! : )

Belay Off,
April 11 it is. Now I have a legitimate excuse to apply for an IRS extension.

Belay Off,
A little red-headed elf advises me that you're down with the flu. Hope you feel better soon.
He also reminded me that the 1875 Carson City dime constitutes two separate coins (Mintmark above and below the bow) in the 111 Carson City coin series. I volunteer to do them both. However, you may want to space out my presentations.
