PCGS World Series

Anyone heard of this before?

I can't find a more recent post than 2008: www.pcgs.com/Articles/Detail/5241 . Looks like it was a big deal in 2004: www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/collect...dingtm-73149012.html .

Sounds like fun for a seasoned collector, with a great eye, and lots of time on his or her hands! That is, if it's still in existence.

Perhaps there are other events like it that you know of?
