About.com has an article with 24 photographs from China about the workings of a counterfeiting operation. It is unbelievable what they are doing. They are flooding our coin market with thousands of fake coins. Morgan dollars, key dates , common dates, silver coins, copper coins, etc. Why common coins? If you can make a coin for $2 and sell it on e-Bay for $15 or $20, why not? Some coins are sold in slabs.
The best way to locate the article is to Google it as "Chinese Coin Counterfeiting Ring".
