Picked up this new book at FUN. Whitman sold out of their copies they had at the show. This is a smaller hardbound book about 122 pages long. It gives a brief history of the CC area and then moves into the GSA silver dollars. It goes year by year and gives the collector and variety notes.
This is not a hugely technical book but it should be a good mainstream book. The way it is written it should also do a good job promoting the VAM's found in the GSA hoard as well as the coins themselves. The book is also full color which is good people buying it.
Curious if others have picked up the book and their thoughts.

I also picked this up at FUN from Whitman and had Selby sign it. I bought it there so that I would have something to read on the flight home to the West Coast. It filled most of the flight from Orlando to Phoenix and was a very plesent read. I highly recommend it for those who want just a basic inroduction to CC vams and mainly GSA holdered ones.
