Thank you for the information about Richmond Collection.
If the owner remains anonymous where does the name Richmond
comes from? I had no idea what this coin was sold for in 2005.
This Forum is a very good idea. It is a fountain of information.
I hope to learn the "ropes" of using it soon.
"James Crawford" and "The Mint on Carson Street" are on my bookshelf.
Read and enjoyed both. Thank you.

The auction company is located in Virginia Beach, VA and Richmond, just two hours away, is the capital of Virginia.
Regardless of the name of the auction, when all three sessions ended, the collection sold for approximately $25 million!
