Hi Mike,
After reading your article in Curry's Chronicles I am oh so envious of your half eagle collection. Yet it also inspires me to work on my own collection of our favorite "CC" coins. I myself am currently working on a type set of CC's. I would also personally like to thank you for your true inspiration to write my first article in the Winter 2008 edition of our great publication. I submitted a follow up article but due to the enormous amount of articles sent in for the Summer 09 edition I should be in the Fall 09. What a great feeling that is. Now that we have the ability to sign up for a life membership I am working toward realizing that goal also.
Not to go to far off subject " wow what a nice coin..

Thank you ever so much. If I helped you in any way by serving as an inspiration to prompt you in writing an article to our Chronicle, then I am truly flattered. Thank you for viewing my "CC" half eagles. Most of the thanks should be forwarded to Rusty Goe who was largely responsible for the assemblage of my set. Long live our C4OA!

I also have my first article coming in this quarter's Chronicle, so I am excited about that. The inspiration form both you guys and others was the impetus and my love of coins and Carson City coins in particular made it a top priority to try and find something interesting to write about.
