I can tell by your reply that you totally got what I was trying (with my intermediate writing skills) to say. That is exactly how we ( my wife Jo Ann and I) feel as well....these "feelings" are what got me hooked on "CC" coins in the first place.
It's good to know that many others share these same feelings. Coin collecting (when done right) can be a tremendously rewarding investment tool....but that's not what it is for me, it's the intrigue of the history.
