Hi Garryn

Thank you for your good words and comments. I want to thank Deepsouthspike for "opening the door" so to speak on the multi-picture format for these COWposts. I liked his idea so much I kind of incorporated into my posting format too. It is because of ideas just like this our posts keep getting better as the project moves forward.

drummer,

The street views are really neat! Wouldn't it be neat to have some of these original photos in your collection to go with your awesome complete set of Carson City Half Eagles?

An 1880cc Half Eagle is still on my shopping list, perhaps the right example will come my way one day. Sounds like it is an easier date to obtain in a lower grade than the other 18 dates in the series.

1880 sounds like it was a great year to have been employed at the Carson Mint!

another in-depth and most enjoyable post from the drummer, your story not only consists of a base drum but the high hat and cymbals too!
